We recommend taking the train, they go directly to Sandton train station, without transfer, and are comfortable and affordable.
From the arrival hall, take the escalator up on your right following the signs for the “Trains” to get to the Gautrain station inside the airport. Tickets are available for purchase in the dedicated kiosk in the station. Only the yellow lane runs at this station, which ends at Sandton CBD. A single journey between OR Tambo International Airport and Sandton costs ZAR 142.00. The journey will take 12-17 minutes.
To get to the IDC Center from the Sandton Gautrain station: take the S5 Fourways bus and get off at the second stop, West corner Grayston drive. The IDC will be on your right, along Grayston.
